Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge is located on the banks of a seasonal river, surrounded by indigenous vegetation, with unparalleled views of the plains game. This private safari lodge is nestled within the western savannah region of the Olifants West Nature Reserve where the resident lion prides often call out at night and adventure has no curfew.
This exquisite lodge incorporates organic African architecture and natural materials in its grand lounge & varied dining areas. Sprawling decks create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living, encouraging guests to mingle and enjoy the environment. Guests can take a stroll on the extended sky walk which leads to a frequented waterhole – a beautiful area to reconnect with nature.
In addition to the main entertainment areas, Billy’s Lodge also boasts a very fine wine cellar, set against the natural rock face in resemblance of an ancient Khoisan cave. Lastly, for respite from hot summer days, the main crystalline pool and lounging area provides additional tranquil spots to while away the day surrounded by the lodge’s lush gardens, and the soothing sound of trickling water by the pool’s waterfall.
Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge is a place where Africa remains unspoilt. Here, the emphasis is on warm hospitality and familiarity. Your knowledgeable guides will share their experiences of the bush and knowledge of the local flora & fauna on twice daily game drives in an open safari vehicle. Be thrilled by the unexpected around every corner of the African bush and dazzled by a million stars on the night portion of the safari.

There are various room options to choose from at Ezulwini Billy’s Lodge. Available for bookings are three spacious ultra-luxury suites with private plunge pools, as well as one two-bed family room with enclosed courtyard, and two lovely standard chalets with expansive views of the savanna. Additional guests can be accommodated on sofa beds in either the suites, family room and/or chalets. However, please enquire on availability, and additional rates. Please note that our chalets & suites can only accommodate 3 adults and/or 2 adults & 2 children. Although our family room is able to accommodate 4 adults and/or 2 adults & 4 children.
